A Passion for Missions

Dr Finigan has a passion for international missions, and it was overseas where he first thought of becoming a physician. In 2006 while working with Burmese refugees in Thailand he saw firsthand how medicine could be used to heal people physically, but also use it as a vehicle to heal people spiritually. He started Reach Primary Care in order to use it as a tool to help those within our own community as well as the refugee community of Thailand.

Passion for Fitness

Growing up on the California coast being active was just a part of life for Dr Finigan with activities such as surfing, rock climbing, and backpacking. However, during residency training running became a way to deal with stress coining the phrase “run more sleep less”. This grew into a passion for running farther and accomplishing increasingly bolder achievements.

To date Dr Finigan has completed a 30-mile, 50-mile, and 100-mile ultramarathon as well as both a half-ironman and full-distance ironman triathlon. Today Dr Finigan loves helping his patients accomplish greater health and fitness through exercise and dietary counseling.
